As you may know by now the Nordic Open Masters will be held in Reykjav\u00edk, Iceland on 8-9th<\/sup> of October 2021. Some speculations have arisen whether or not the meet will be held with originally published schedule or if new rules will be implemented due to Covid-19 restrictions.<\/em><\/p>\n After a Government cabinet meeting today our Minister of Health, Ms. Svand\u00eds Svavarsd\u00f3ttir confirmed that during larger organized events, such as sports events, the maximum participants rule of 200 persons would be prolonged until September 17th<\/sup>. Included in this number would be competitors, referees and staff at competition area. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n However<\/strong> \u2013 It was further stated that work had already started on implementing a rule of maximum 500 persons at events, depending on a negative Rapid-test for each person attending.
